Exterior or Patio Shades provide one of the best solutions to heat gain and UV protection available. This is accomplished by reducing the harsh rays penetrating the glass. In doing so, climate control of your home or office can be more efficient.

Light can be broken down into four categories:

•   40% is Ultraviolet

•   25% is Visible Light

•   25% is Infrared

•   10% is Miscellaneous (Florescent or Incandescent Light)

To best compliment the architecture, our components are designed to be unobtrusive with soft lines and color coordination whenever possible.   The fabrics used by American German Rollshutters and Shades are made of the finest quality materials available on the market.  These materials come in a wide variety of colors and densities.

The Exterior & Patio Shades can be fully automated with sun and wind sensors, timers or remote controls. Or they can simply run from a wall switch.
